Fame And Fortune

There's so much to say
Not knowing where to begin
All these feelings And thoughts trapped within

Wanting to get to know you
It isn't fair what you've been through
Only if you knew
There's someone out there
Someone you haven't met
Someone who cares

She won't want you
For the fame and fortune
She will be happy
Just to be with you

Fame is just a disease
Fortune is what everyone needs
Fame and fortune can't buy happiness
It can't buy true love

Fame and fortune means nothing to her
She's happy to think
That she's found the one
If he only understands
She will never let him go
The other women don't know
They don't realise what they had
This is sad

One intelligent, respectful man
Left buried in the sand
