I hear a dog yelp
Crying for help
Wanting it's release
But no one cares

None of this is fair
How'd we feel if the shoe was on the other foot
I know I fuss but cruel to an animal is just not right
It's criminal

These animals have a right to be here
This is their place too
They're no different to us

They protect us from the dangers that surround us
Yet we forget
And take them for granted
Killing them off till there are none left on this planet

I want to walk with the lions
Run with the wolves
This is my nature
I live for the animals

The lion has it's dedication
The poacher's use them for medication
It's all one big devastation

I thought we were here to protect them
Thought we weren't to be so selfish and cruel
Who is at their defence?

The wolves are skinned for their fur
They are used for fighting
They are being killed, abused
And for what?

All of this is wrong
It's a crime

Here they are fighting for their own lives
And now trying to defend themselves from us
We have lost their faith
Their loyalty
All because of our selfish acts

We have given every animal more than one way to die
The birds are finding it hard to fly
Their water for drinking has been polluted
And the fish have been left to die due to our rubbish
No one cares
If they do...
It's only a few and we are trying our best to fix this
